At this point, the Bordeaux, located at 2600 West Girard Avenue, is at the early stages of its development, with the foundation recently being completed.
Designed by Ambit Architecture, The Bordeaux features a stylistic fusion of traditional red brick facade in an unmistakably modern form factor with dark cladding and glass at the base. The building has a barely noticeable inward slant that starts at the bottom of the 5th floor, making the top of the structure appear to converge towards the sky. The apartment units have high ceilings complemented by narrow floor-to-ceiling windows that allow enough light to create excellent, spacious living environments.
Completed in 2022, the five-story mixed-use structure shares its 21,000 sq. ft. among 16 residential units and a ground-floor retail space. Amenities include bike and tenant storage, as well as a shared roof deck with gorgeous views of the Philly skyline.
